Microsoft Windows WiFi Setup

Step 1) Select SSID "Harvard University" from the WiFi menu

Select Harvard Help from SSID menu

Find the WiFi icon in the lower-left corner of your task tray and choose the "Harvard University" SSID from the WiFi menu and wait for your device to connect to the network.

Step 2) Open a web browser and visit

Launch your favorite web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, etc.) and open any webpage. You will be redirected to the following Harvard Wireless page.

To select your network, choose "Harvard Secure" and you should be directed to the next page.

Step 3) Choose "Harvard Secure" or "eduroam"

Step 4) Select your OS and click the "JoinNow" button

Your Windows system should be automatically detected. If it was incorrectly detected, you can select the correct system in the drop-down box at the bottom of the page.

When ready, click the "JoinNow" button to continue.

Step 5) Download and Install an EXE file

Download DMG file

Execute the EXE file.

Step 6) Enter your HarvardKey and Password

Enter your HarvardKey Password

When prompted, enter your HarvardKey and Password and click "Next".

Step 7) Verify that you are connected to "Harvard Secure"

After joining the network, please verify that you are correctly connected to the "Harvard Secure" wireless network.

You may be prompted to select a network type. It is recommended to choose Public Network.
